Too much wonderful things that she had done to people
around her, so much so that it would be impossible to tell
everyone of them. I remember her not only in the many good
works that she performed, but also the love, joy and comfort
that she brought to everyone she came in contact with. Jesus
said, "whoever will drinks the water that I will give him will never
be thirsty again."(John 4:14). She was that water that
overflows, filling the many broken hearts of the people she
served. Being in the Legion of Mary,
we had so many opportunities dealing with people who
needs care, companionship, and most importantly, love. She
was always the one who cared more, loved more, and worked
more. She had abundant love to give, never in a moment
quitting on them. It is sad that she passed away so
unexpectedly. But I'm sure God has a better plan for her, as
well as for us. She left us with so much encouragement; She
encouraged us to serve the needy , as Jesus commanded us.
Her life was a model for us. I thank God for knowing her;
although it was a short two years period of time, it was enough
to tell me that in fact, it is possible for everybody to live out
our faith as our Lord, Jesus Christ has commanded us to, and
she was a living witness.
